This is a Ben Franklin’s personal writing desk that was in his home in Philadelphia. Ol’ Ben lived a good deal of his adult life in Europe so, Mrs. Franklin used the desk to most, but Ben wrote more than a couple of letters on it’s drop-leaf writing surface |

is buried. The brass fence is well polished from all the visitors. |
