Philadelphia

This is a Ben Franklin’s personal writing desk that was in his home in Philadelphia. Ol’ Ben lived a good deal of his adult life in Europe so, Mrs. Franklin used the desk to most, but Ben wrote more than a couple of letters on it’s drop-leaf writing surface

Franklin designed this music stand for a quartet.

Across from the US Treasury Bldg in Philadelphia is the cemetery where Ben Franklin is buried. The brass fence is well polished from all the visitors.

Pictured is the grave of Ben & Deborah Franklin. To the left is the tomb of Franklin’s grandson and his wife.
