The intersection of Haight and Ashbury: Hippie Central in the late sixties. Now the area is populated by clothing stores, head shops, books, kitsch coffee shops and the occasional homeless person.
A statue of a sailor (WWII?) at the park on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge. He looked very, cold, lonely and determined .
Turkeys! We were on the road to Tennessee Valley Beach and a flock of wild turkeys just walked by.
Emmy spotted this deer just after we started our walk to Tennessee Valley Beach.
